I’m not your typical “left-brain” or “right-brain” individual. I don’t fit the mold of a stereotypical data geek. While I certainly apply logic, a technical mindset, and analytical thinking in my work, I also wholeheartedly embrace my boundless imagination and creativity.

My journey into the realm of data storytelling had humble beginnings. As a grant writer for various art collectives, I scoured for data sets to substantiate the projects I championed. However, a mentor taught me a valuable lesson: for every data point, there were always follow-up questions about the numbers and what they actually meant.

Initially, it felt overwhelming. But I soon came to realize that defining and categorizing our world is an inherently human endeavor. We have an innate desire to assign names to every object.

Leveraging the skills I honed through years of experience and the knowledge I acquired from formal education and certifications, I crafted a powerful framework to empower businesses.
